Chemuniqué (Pty) Ltd is excited to announce the promotion of Jackie Tucker to commercial executive, effective immediately. “After a year of massive growth in both the team and in our customer-service offerings, culminating in the move to our newly built premises in Lanseria in October, the time has come for structure to meet strategy”, says managing director Terry Wiggill. “This is the first in a number of changes that are aimed at streamlining processes and improving overall efficiency.”
In this new role, Jackie will be responsible for building a number of strategic connections within the business to optimise efficiency. “The Chemuniqué team brings dedication and passion to the table every day, by challenging the thinking of our partners and customers as well as finding creative solutions to improve efficiencies,” says Jackie. “Working with this highly skilled team to contribute to customer prosperity and the overall wellbeing of our industry is a great measure of success for me. In this new role, I wish to find further creative collaboration opportunities, in order to build on the excellent leadership and culture at Chemuniqué.”
“Jackie joined the company 10 years ago and has advanced through progressively more responsible positions in both the technical and marketing departments, where she has played a key role in our success,” says Terry. “She has added immense value to both the Chemuniqué team internally and to our customers and partners and has served the South African animal production industry with the greatest scientific responsibility and integrity. We are excited about her new role as commercial executive in the company!”
Jackie holds an MSc(Agric) degree in animal science from the University of Pretoria and is currently in the process of completing an MBA at Henley Business School Africa. She is registered with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) as a professional animal scientist (Pr.Sci.Nat. 400144/14) with 15 years’ experience in the agricultural industry. Jackie is the previous chair of the Animal Feed Manufacturers Association (AFMA) Technical Committee, as well as the founding member of Ladies in Animal Science South Africa (LASSA) and an active member of the South African Society for Animal Science (SASAS), currently serving on the committee of the northern branch.
