Juliette Biljon

I love working with people, and, being in finance, we have the opportunity to interact with most departments, as well as customers and suppliers on a daily basis.  I have always had a flair for numbers and producing correct numbers, on time, gives me great satisfaction as that information can have such a huge impact in the decision-making processes of a business.

Finance has always been at the heart of most of my roles, but I have been fortunate to gain experience in operations, projects and HR over the years.

More recently, I was employed as a GM at Prosound, servicing mainly the construction, hospitality, and entertainment industries.  I was with the company for over 10 years and worked in various departments of their organisation during my tenure with the company. I joined Prosound in 2009 while they were working on construction projects for nine out of the 10 FIFA world cup stadiums in South Africa, and I was tasked with reconciling the finances on those projects.

Thereafter, a large part of my role within the company was to ensure the effective financial management of all their large local projects, as well as their foreign projects, which was quite exciting – especially seeing a project through from planning to hand-over stage.

I have also completed various courses in bookkeeping, Pastel, and workplace management training over the years.
