Chemuniqué (Pty) Ltd is excited to announce that Jerry Rowles has been promoted to governance executive, effective immediately. “The past few years have been characterised by immense change and growth in our team, culminating in the move to our newly built premises in Lanseria in October,” says Terry Wiggill, managing director of Chemuniqué. “Jerry’s promotion is one of a number of changes aimed at streamlining processes and improving overall efficiency as structure meets strategy.”
In this new role, Jerry will be responsible for all matters related to corporate governance and human capital management and development. “Jerry has been a part of the Chemuniqué family for over six years and has been instrumental in shaping the corporate culture in his role as general manager,” says Terry. “His absolute dedication to his colleagues and the best interests of the company as a whole make him the perfect candidate for this new role.”
Jerry holds various degrees and qualifications, including a BCom in cost accounting, business management, and economics from Rhodes University, and has completed the Advanced Executive Programme (AEP) through Unisa’s School of Business Leadership, completing a thesis on stress in the workplace. He is also an advanced Conversational Intelligence® (C-IQ) coach in neuroscience and a professional coach in ketogenic and low-carb nutrition.

Before joining the Chemuniqué team, Jerry held senior positions in human resources and corporate finance for almost 20 years, later working as a director in various consultant companies, including The Pacific Institute, Argil Business Growth, and Market Immersion.

In addition to taking control of corporate governance issues, I also see my new role as something of a ‘chief heart officer’, ensuring that the heartbeat of the company, its people, are happy, healthy, and successful!”
