I am currently a poultry intern and and co-limestone-coordinator at Chemuniqué. I completed by BSc(Agric) degree in animal science with distinction at the University of Pretoria, and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in monogastric nutrition. I am a registered member of the South African Society for Animal Science (SASAS). My fields of interests include the application of exogenous enzymes to aid in the mitigation of excessive mineral and nutrient excretion in broilers, and I’m continuously looking for new and exciting ways to combine my love for poultry and thirst for knowledge.
My aim is to help reduce the broiler industry’s ecological footprint, as well as improve broiler welfare to ensure a sustainable and profitable industry for generations to come. I hope to contribute my love for animals and thirst for knowledge in a manner that will best support the industry.
