I was born and raised in Pretoria, although I have had exposure to the agricultural sector since I was young through spending holidays on the farm. I completed my master’s degree in animal nutrition at the University of Pretoria in 2019, the focus of my research being the effect of protein quality on the performance of feedlot sheep. I joined Chemuniqué in January 2020 as ruminant researcher. My goal is to build a lifetime of experience, both through the research I undertake, and by learning from the people I meet along the way.
I am passionate about animals and aim to positively contribute to the livestock industry through research in ruminant nutrition that is applicable to both South African and international sectors.
