I grew up in Centurion and completed a BSc (Agric) degree in animal science at the University of Pretoria. I completed an MSc in aquaculture at Auburn University in Alabama in the United States in 2018. My master’s degree on amino acid supplementation in Pacific white shrimp gave me the opportunity to gain experience on a research farm also focusing on feed management for shrimp in pond production. Studying abroad was a great experience and I remain forever grateful for the opportunity. I was appointed at Chemuniqué as a junior nutritionist responsible for layers in November 2018. Now I am excited to be a part of a great team working in the poultry industry and learning something new every day while having fun!
