Chemuniqué, a leader in animal nutrition and performance solutions, is proud to announce the appointment of three new accomplished professionals to its ruminant team. This strategic expansion further reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation, customer service, and sustainable food production.
Pieter Oosthuizen joins as ruminant technical specialist, bringing 24 years of experience in the animal nutrition and health industry in South Africa. Pieter holds a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Pretoria and an honours degree in animal nutrition from Stellenbosch University. His expertise spans product development and technical support for commercial teams, with a focus on dairy, beef, and small stock. Pieter’s extensive knowledge and passion for ruminant nutrition will be a tremendous asset to Chemuniqué and its clients.
Stephan Gericke joins as a ruminant technical specialist for KwaZulu-Natal. With five years of experience in the animal feed industry, Stephan is dedicated to supporting animal health, productivity, and profitability. He has played a key role in developing nutritional programmes, solving technical issues, and working closely with farmers. Stephan holds a BSc and MSc in animal science from Stellenbosch University.
Lisa van Deventer also recently joined as a ruminant intern in the Eastern Cape. Lisa has a deep-rooted passion for animals and a keen interest in how nutrition can drive health and productivity in livestock. She holds both a BSc and MSc in animal science from Stellenbosch University, where her research focused on innovative approaches to improving calf health in the dairy industry. Lisa’s combination of scientific expertise and practical on-farm experience will further strengthen the operational foundation of Chemuniqué’s ruminant team.
